If a sports fan actually thinks about it, February is one of the busiest sports months of the year.
1. The Super Bowl.
2. The beginning of college baseball
3. The winding down of college basketball.
4. The NBA heads down the reach toward the playoffs.
5. Pitchers and catcher report.
6. NFL free agency begins.
Numbers two through six are what I am going to talk about.
LSU baseball seems to be back where its fans thing that it should be. They thing that it should be consistently ranked in the top ten.
The LSU basketball team seems to be on a run that has them headed to the NCAA tournament. The problem here is the rankings. They need to continue on their run at least through the semi-finals because I think that they will have to get there to even have a shot.
The Hornets are on their playoff push. It is sad to see that the possible best player and MVP of the league is hurt.
If you are a MLB fan, then the day that pitchers a catchers report is important to you as well. It is just like any other sport. Your favorite team is 0-0 and hope springs eternal.
