My favorite day of the NFL calendar has arrived.
IT IS NOW DRAFT DAY.
I have already said it;
“If the Saints stand as they are, they will have to hit on every single draft pick.” -MFP (the many talk shows and blog posts)
What all Saints fans should hope fr is that the team will find a team to trade down to. That team should be, preferably, more than six spots down so that they can maximize the ability to get as mus as they possibly can for the draft pick.
The two teams to look at are Phliadelphia and new England. The reason for Philadelphia is that the have two first round draft picks and they are a lot closer to being playoff ready then the Saints are. That would be a spot where Beanie Wells would fit. New England makes since because they have multiple picks in the second, third, and sixth rounds.
With a great number of picks, the Saints have the ability to “miss” but with just four picks, they have to “hit” on everything
