I did not see it but apparently the defense had a good day in the Black and Gold scrimmage.
(Strong safety Roman Harper and cornerback Jason David each had an interception, and weakside linebacker Mark Simoneau and defensive end Jeff Charleston each had a fumble recovery.
Defensive ends Charles Grant and Anthony Hargrove and safeties Chris Reis and Harper each were credited with a sack.)-Brian Allee-Walsh.
I would say that this would be considered aa good day. Don’t get me wrong, it is a scrimmage but if this a harbinger of things to come, then the defense has definitely improved. Did we expect that it would not, especially with the credentials that the new defense coordinator brings
