The Saints have proved something yesterday.
They have proved that they can play from behind.
It looked like they were on their on their way to their first loss. Boy, they turned it around in the second half. They did this by outscoring the Dolphins 36-10 in the second half.
Sure, Drew Brees had several interceptions and they eventually led to points. Also, John Carney missed a field goal and had an extra point blocked.
In the first quarter, the defense could not stop the “wildcat.” Then, about halfway through the second quarter, it seemed, the defense had cranked down on the Dolphins.
It there was a question of whether they are the best team in the league or not, I think that they have answered them.
