It Is Amazing

Think about this, just how far has the LSU football program has come.

In 1995, when Gerry Dinardo had to go and “bring back the magic,” he had to work extremely hard recruiting. Then came Nick Saban. Saban was a tireless worker but because he had the NFL credibility that helped him to get some pretty good players. He got the program its first national championship in forty-five years.

Then came the hat.

Les Miles has added on to what Saban has done. In addition to offering a scholarship to the number one quarterback (Devin Gardener), but now they are getting consideration from Nick Montana. He is the son of Joe. Joe is widely considered to be the best quarterback in the history of the NFL.

I maintain that when a program that is not considered to be the legacy program, then you are getting to the point where the program can run itself irregardless of who the coach is.
