The LSU mens basketball team is on a magical run.
The fact is that I am starting to get into it.
Why?
It is because I really did not think that they would be this good, at least not in the first year of a of a new coach.
I am starting to believe that this is a team that could fly under the radar and make a deep run. Sure, if they keep winning, they will eventually be ranked and probably be ranked very high. They can also fly under the radar and be ranked high and do some very good things in the tournament.
The majority of the national media thinks, rightly so, that the SEC is down. This could work in LSU’s favor.
It now appears that they will win the SEC regular season title. The real test will come when they head off to play in the SEC tornament.
Several teams in the other division ar good as evidenced by these teams beating up on each other.
LSU still has some tests coming up. They still have to play Kentucky in Rupp Arena, and still have to play Vanderbilt and Florida at home in th PMAC.
It won’t be easy but I think that they can get the job done and surprise a majority of the LSU fans. These fans that say that they won’t be surprised are liars.
