(Certain college football teams is certain parts of the country will always fly underneath the radar of the national press. While others in other parts of the nation will get favorable even fawning press.)
Back in 2003 as LSU was making its run, it was hare for the tigers to get fair national coverage. The coverage went towards Southern California.
When it was brought out that this was happening, certain talk hosts put dirty toilet water over the top of it.
The fact of the matter is that this was not the first time that this had happened and it will not be the last. A lot of the national print, talk, and tv media went to schools on the west coast, Big Ten, or the Ivy League. Those are the facts.
If the same situation happens to another souther university, that happened with LSU, then the same thing will happen. You will see that particuar universities fans complain the same way that the LSU fans did
