A few years ago the Astros wanted to strengthen their bullpen. What they did was to bring in David Weathers and Dan Micelli. It just seemed that when they came into the game, that they did not play well. What would end up happening was that if the team as ahead, but it was close, then the man that they would bring in would end up giving up the lead.
Another good example is what happened with the New Orleans Saints. Any time that an opposing quarter back saw Jaon David, he would throw at him.
The last example is whomever was on the Hornets bench. The veterans gave them nothing. I think that it is time to go a different direction. If you sign veterans and they give you nothing then try rookies.
I hate to see donkeys on my favorite teams.
