The Saints have made a good first step in terms getting back on track towards defending their Super Bowl title.
This is the first time this year they have won two games in a row. That is definitely a positive in going into the bye week.
In terms of the game, even though it is the Carolina Panthers, the Saints throttled them. I nuderstand what you are going to say. The feel is that the panthers are a bad team. I think they are a much better team they everyone thinks. This is their year for injuries. Still, with all the injuries they have a pretty good defence.
On the Saints side, the offense broke out, the defense caused turnovers and the special teams did not gve up many big plays.
The Saints can now go into the off week and get healthy. This includes Bush, who I thought would not be back until after the bye anyway, resting Sharper’s hamstring, healing up the other assorted injuries on the team.
Let’s see if the Saints can get on a roll again.
